There was no major winner on Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing, which led to the jackpot to increase to a new high, and even exceed $1 billion.

There was no winner who matched the six numbers in order to take home 940 million dollars in the Mega Millions jackpot Friday. The prize for the Mega Millions game has increased to approximately $1.1 billion, and includes an option to cash in $568.7 million for the next draw next Tuesday.

The staggering $1.1 billion prize is third biggest ever Mega Millions has ever seen and is the fifth biggest jackpot in the history of lottery.

Since Mega Millions jackpot was last claimed on October 1, the highest prize has increased through 24 consecutive draws. The odds of winning the jackpot is 1 one in 302.6 million.
